Get RxD Linear Bearing GHD: Glute Ham Developer Review

GHDs are an interesting piece. You have people that love them, or hate them, for various reasons. I’ve had one, sold it, and gone through different periods of wanting and not wanting one. Ultimately, if I had the space, I’d make room for one. But a dedicated piece that does a couple of things is hard to budget for in a small garage. Key Notes

The Get RxD Linear Bearing GHD is a solid offering. So much so that multiple companies have essentially copied this same design (not sure who offered it first). It is probably the minimum I would require for a GHD in your garage.

I love GHDs. I really do. The problem is that I typically only program the Glute Ham Raise once every couple of blocks. That means it gets used for a month or so, and then sits there for a month or two. My wife never enjoyed them. And my daughter is too small to truly use the GHD. So it became a very large piece that got infrequent use. I can say that NOTHING feels like a good Glute Ham Raise. That hamstring gnarliness is unique to that one exercise. In an ideal world I’d own one, alongside a 45 degree hyper, reverse hyper, hip thrust machine, and more. But here we are, in a one stall garage, getting it done.
