Bench Reviews
Looking for the BEST Bench for your garage gym? Below are all of the Bench Reviews I have done with benches I have handled in my gym.
A flat bench should be simple. Sturdy, grippy, ready for heavy benching. There are a lot of possible designs to accommodate different sized athletes, but the flat bench shouldn’t be complicated. I have been benching off a modified craigslist flat bench since V1 of my gym.
Adjustable Benches on the other hand, I believe need to accomplish more. I don’t like many adjustable benches that don’t have attachments. The bodybuilder in me wants a leg curl and extension attachment, and there is no compromising. Ideally there would be other options and attachments to go with that as well. I’ll take a look at some of the basic adjustable benches, but you won’t see one last very long in my gym. There is no space for me, for an adjustable bench, that doesn’t do a lot of things.
